Advice & package selection
In a short conversation by phone or email, we discuss your setup and expectations. I recommend a suitable package.
You then receive a firm quote including the package price and travel costs. No surprises.

Arrange an appointment
We agree on a time that suits you. Evening and weekend appointments are possible.
You receive confirmation of the date and time, together with a short preparation checklist.

On-site calibration
I visit you with all the reference equipment required. Depending on the package, calibration takes approximately 1–3 hours.
You are welcome to watch, ask questions and see the picture change in real time.

Results & documentation
You receive the documentation included in your package, an explanation of the settings and tips for everyday use. The sample report shows a final verification measurement.
Which settings to leave unchanged, how to handle firmware updates and what to look out for.

If questions arise after calibration, simply get in touch. Aftercare is included.

Frequently asked questions about display calibration
Your questions about OLED, projector and TV calibration, answered.
Whether calibration is worthwhile depends on your device, its initial performance and how you use it. Measurements show how its white point, colour reproduction and greyscale tracking (EOTF) differ from the chosen reference standard, and what can usefully be corrected.
A typical calibration takes between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the TV model and services booked. A 3D LUT calibration takes 2 to 3 hours. You are welcome to get on with other things while I work.
Individual measurements: I measure your specific display using a JETI specbos 2501 HiRes and an Admesy Prometheus. Available adjustments depend on the device and the package booked.
Scope of service: Basic covers fundamental SDR adjustments, Professional adds extended white balance adjustment and HDR10, and Premium also includes Dolby Vision on compatible devices. The reference packages include the specified LUT workflows and their verification.
Your own meter: Colorimeter profiling is available as an add-on or standalone service. It is separate from the measurement equipment I use for your calibration.
Calibration uses the picture settings and interfaces intended for the agreed workflow. It does not involve hardware modifications. If special access methods or LUT functions are needed, we will discuss the approach beforehand. Your device manufacturer's warranty terms apply.
Filmmaker Mode is a good starting point, but it is not an individual calibration. It uses generic settings that are not tailored to your specific device and panel characteristics. Professional calibration measures and corrects the actual deviations of your display.
Very little: make sure the device has at least 200 operating hours for initial stabilisation. You should be able to darken the room and provide access to the TV or projector. I bring everything else.
Yes. For certain TV models, such as LG OLEDs, remote calibration is possible. You need a compatible colorimeter and a stable internet connection. I guide you through the process and calibrate live via remote access. Ask me whether your device is suitable.
Delta E expresses the calculated difference between a measured colour and its reference. Within the same formula, lower values mean smaller deviations. ΔE2000 and ΔE ITP are different metrics; comparisons require the same formula, measurement conditions and test colours. The achievable result depends on the display and calibration scope.

Measurement example: JVC NZ9 with madVR Envy. The results report dated 29 March 2025 documents SDR verification for Rec.709 with gamma 2.4 after calibration.
Across 1,000 measurement points, the average ΔE2000 is 0.13 and the maximum is 0.72. The separately reported ΔE ITP metric averages 0.42, with a maximum of 4.67. These formulas weight deviations differently, so their numerical values are not directly equivalent.
This is the result for this specific setup. It cannot be generalised to other devices or calibration packages. The original measurement values are preserved in full in the PDF.
This example shows the final verification. A corresponding before-calibration measurement is not included in this report.
